Back to the lake!

Spring wildflowers at Lake Dalwigk

This month, the Vallejo Watershed Alliance is returning to Lake Dalwigk. Join us for a cleanup on Saturday, February 20 from 9 a.m. to noon. This is the first time we’ll have met in a while, and we’ll keep everyone safe and socially-distant for this event. In addition to trash removal, we’ll be raking mulch around the new trees to protect them and help retain the nice rain we’ve been enjoying. Wear comfortable clothes, sturdy shoes, mask, gloves, hat and sunscreen. We’ll provide water and snacks, and any of the necessary tools. We’ll meet on the 5th Street side, walk down the steps near the park on the corner of Lemon Street and look for us.
Not ready for a group activity? We understand completely! DIY Cleanups are a great option — simply email us at Info@VallejoWatershedAlliance.org and let us know when plan to go to Lake Dalwigk and what supplies you need. We can provide bags, pickers, sanitizer, etc. and will drop them on your porch. After you’ve done your cleanup, filled bags should be placed next to the trash cans in the park on the corner of Lemon and 5th Streets. Just let us know how many trash bags you filled, and when they’re ready for pickup.
