Join us in celebrating Earth Day on Saturday, April 21 in two ways!
From 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., we’ll join more than 30 other vendors and organizations at our Earth Day Festival, which takes place from at the Farmers Market on Marin Street between Georgia and Virginia. The free fun includes jugglers, face painting, kids activities and music, Loma Vista Farm, and much more. Our table will feature Critters of Lake Chabot! Need more info? Visit www.ValcoreRecycling.org.
Also on Saturday, April 21, there will be a cleanup along Blue Rock Springs Creek from 9:00 to 11:30 a.m. Wear comfortable clothes, sturdy shoes, hat, sunscreen, and gloves. We’ll provide tools and refreshments. Participants under 18 must be accompanied by an adult and have a waiver signed by a parent or guardian. The site captain is Don Broderson; you can contact him at jbhsmrb (at) sbcglobal.net.
