Earth Day Heroes Needed!

Saturday, April 26, 2025; 9:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

Celebrate Earth Day and enhance one of Vallejo’s beautiful waterways! Come join us at Blue Rock Springs Creek for a cleanup throughout the creek corridor.

Park for free at the Wardlaw Dog Park lot (1805 Ascott Parkway), then follow the path behind the dog park and cross the bridge. Wear comfortable clothes, sturdy shoes, hat, sunscreen, and gloves. It’s a family-friendly event, and volunteers of all ages and abilities are welcome (if you are under 18, you must be accompanied by an adult). We’ll provide tools, buckets, water and refreshments. Email Info@VallejoWatershedAlliance.org or call (707) 652-782 for questions or to RSVP.

We hope to see you there!

Special thanks to our partners: Greater Vallejo Recreation District, Recology Vallejo, Solano Resource Conservation District, and the Vallejo Flood and Wastewater District

Lake Chabot Needs Your Help!

Saturday, March 15 (9 a.m. to 12 p.m.)

Dan Foley Community Park: Boat Launch

Families will be coming to Lake Chabot soon for the 20th Annual “Fishing in the City”, and we need to do some shoreline improvement and cleanup in preparation for the event.

Wear sturdy clothes and shoes (waders if you have them), hat, sunscreen, and gloves. Bring a refillable water bottle if you have one. We’ll provide water and refreshments, as well as any tools that are needed. Enter the park at the east end of North Camino Alto, off Tuolumne past the Sutter Solano Medical Center. Please RSVP by emailing info@VallejoWatershedAlliance.org or calling (707) 652-7812.

SAVE THE DATE!

The 2025 Earth Day Cleanup will take place on Saturday, April 26. Additional details to follow.
