Significant improvements are coming to Lake Dalwigk, and the Vallejo Watershed Alliance and our partners want to share the good news! We’ll give a brief history of the lake and prior restoration projects, then share what’s ahead for residents and volunteers.
The City of Vallejo, Greater Vallejo Recreation District, Vallejo Flood & Wastewater District, and the Solano Resource Conservation District are working with Interwest Consulting Group on the CalTrans- funded $4.8 million Lake Dalwigk Park Improvements Project, which will include new restrooms, better accessibility, path and culvert enhancements, safety lighting, and more. Representatives from each of these agencies will be on hand to present their perspective and answer questions.
We will also provide updates on the Glen Cove Waterfront Park habitat restoration project, which is funded by the Yocha Dehe Wintun Nation. This exciting project is already showing outstanding results and we look forward to learning what is ahead.
Please join us for coffee and breakfast, and learn more about ways to participate in these exciting projects!
