We are delighted to welcome Sarah McKibbin from the Solano Resource Conservation District (RCD). We’re heading into the second planting season on the Lake Dalwigk restoration project, and Sarah will share how accomplishments to date and what volunteer assistance will be needed this winter. The presentation will take place from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. After that, we will calendar activities for the next twelve months. Members of the public are invited to come for the presentation or stay for the entire meeting. Free refreshments and parking. Also of note, The Solano RCD will host a propagation volunteer day on Friday, August 9, from 9:00 to 11:30 a.m. at their nursery near Vacaville. Native plant seeds will be started to support planting at Dalwigk and other restoration sites in Solano County.
